Állítólag egy éves, two-way szerződést kötöttünk Josh Greennel. Tipikus 4. soros játékos, nagyon jól tud ütközni, és PK-ban is nagyon jó. Valamint 30+ éves már, ahogy Burke szereti. 
Holnap és holnap után draft, kíváncsi vagyok, hogy kiket választunk. És ha minden igaz, akkor holnapig megtudjuk, hogy Niedermayer és Selanne folytatja-e.

This is all a hunch of mine from a site i work for, but it seems legit
I am not a writer that really likes to dig into rumors, but this time one really dug at me. A rumor, to be honest that I’m choosing to start.
Ask yourself as a Ducks or hockey fan:
Why, With Scott Niedermayer possibly retiring would Brian Burke give up a young, experienced, offensive defenseman for a brand new rookie?
Answer: Bergeron frees up about $1.2 million, this is money on top of the Ducks expected not to sign Doug Weight ($3.5million). This freed $4.7million + Cap room is more than enough to sign Corey Perry, plus some left over.
This leftover could go to securing Scott Niedermayer, or Teemu Selanne, who have until the draft to decide on staying or retiring.
Also, with this trade look for the Ducks, with or without Niedermayer, to draft a blue liner with the 12th pick. With Scott contemplating retirement and needing to get younger on D the Ducks must pick up a first or second round defenseman.
None of this is fact, or even a popular rumor on the net. Just some insight from the Ducks CL, only the draft will tell us the answer.
Going Forward:
1. Look for a Corey Perry signing before the draft.
2. Doug Weight will either retire or try his hand at free agency come July.
3. Ducks draft a Defenseman with 12th pick overall at 08 draft in Ottawa.
(I have no real evidence to base this stuff on, but maybe my hunch is right.)

The Anaheim Ducks are still waiting on decisions from right wing Teemu Selanne and defenseman Scott Niedermayer about their futures.
Selanne and Niedermayer are once again contemplating retirement; however the Ducks have given each player a deadline, believed to later this month.
Regardless whether or not Selanne returns to the lineup, and many believe he won't, the Ducks are expected to go after a goal-scoring forward this summer.
Ducks GM Brian Burke has acknowledged that he's willing to make trades in order to bolster his roster, and moves involving draft picks aren't out of the question.
"We've put all those picks in play already," Burke told the Orange County Register. "We've been active. I'd hate to see my phone bill for the last 10 days."

Marc-Andre Bergeron is sent to Minnesota in exchange for a third-round selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft
The Anaheim Ducks announced on Tuesday that they have acquired a third-round selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron.
Bergeron, 27 (10/13/80), played in 55 games between Anaheim and the New York Islanders during the 2007-08 regular season, collecting 9-10=19 points. Bergeron went to the Stanley Cup Final as a member of the 2006 Edmonton Oilers, playing in 75 regular season and 18 playoff games that season. In 267 career NHL contests, the 5-10, 197-pound blueliner has scored 48-80=128 points with 131 penalty minutes (PIM).
A native of Trois-Riviéres, Quebec, Bergeron was signed as a free agent by Edmonton on July 20, 2001. He played in his first full NHL season with the Oilers in 2003-04, scoring 9-17=26 points in 54 games. Following the Oilers’ run to the 2006 Stanley Cup Final, he was acquired by the Islanders with a third-round selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Denis Grebeshkov on Feb. 18, 2007. Bergeron was acquired by Anaheim on Feb. 26, 2008 from the Islanders in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
Úgy látszik, hogy elkezdtük a kiárusításokat, szerintem a draft napján még lesznek változások, ha Scotty a visszajövetel mellett teszi le a voksát, akkor Schneider is repülni fog nagyon rövid idő alatt. Ekkor pedig Perry és Selanne szerződtetése is könnyen meglehet. 1,65 milliót szabadítottunk fel a cap alatt ezzel a lépéssel.
Ügyes húzás, noha én szerettem őt...
